Toulemonde Bochart is a company family founded in 1939 in the heart of the textile region of northern France. We turned to contemporary rugs in the late 1960s and were pioneer in the development of partnerships with renowned designers and stylists to put «Creators at your feet». At this time, collaborations were initiated with dedicated workshops in India and Nepal ensuring compliance with quality rules and the following of creative lines. This led to the appearance of rugs which have become iconic, responding to creative demands within an area which hitherto had not been sensitive to design.
