George Nelson’s graceful solid-wood chest, inspired by Japanese design, comes with or without a metal pedestal base. Its six drawers are hand-fitted—the kind of craftsmanship Nelson insisted upon in 1952. Fifty years since it was last available, it has been updated to employ environmentally sustainable veneers and finishing processes without compromising the original design.
